For Chelsea, New York resident Cesar Fernandez-Chavez, who owns pets, it all began on a depressing Valentine’s Day. When his Golden Retriever called Louboutina (or Loubie, for short) clutched his hands with both of her paws, he had just recently left a long-term relationship. She “started sitting up and grabbing my hands with both of her paws, crossing the other paw over her paw,” according to Fernandez-Chavez. Later, Loubie began to embrace him! Loubie began hugging complete strangers on her regular outings quite quickly. As the news spread and images appeared online, Louboutina s Instagram profile attracted 165k followers. This puppy is obviously full of love!

This cuddly Golden Retriever loves giving free hugs to people she meets!
Her owner, Cesar, never taught her to do this, she just started holding his hands…
A few years later, she ultimately began delivering hugs!
In Cesar’s words, “Instead of asking me to do the holding hands thing, she just sat up, very close to my legs, and she’d wrap her legs around my knees”
Loubie kept giving free hugs!
“Sometimes people rush up and beg for hugs, but I tell them, ‘I don’t believe it’s going to happen,’ because she has to get to know them first,’ Cesar said.
Evidently, Loubie would embrace acquaintances or neighbors rather than just leaning against them like other dogs do.
Loubie began catching the attention of many onlookers with her loving demeanor.
As soon as pictures appeared online, internet users began to fall in love.
