A little boy perused the Exploits Valley SPCA Adoptable Facebook page, scanning every furry face he could find. Although there were many cute puppies and kittens, Easton chose Tiny, a 10-year-old cat.

According to Exploits Valley SPCA, “We posted him on as a courtesy post so he wouldn’t have to come in the shelter until it was absolutely necessary.”

Contrary to his name, Tiny is actually quite large. The substantial ginger cat was described by the shelter as being “weight challenged” as well as “shy.” Tiny has a “big round belly that he loves to have rubbed,” Exploits Valley SPCA Adoptables posted.
Tiny was originally brought to the shelter with his sister, Trinity. Their previous owner could not care for them anymore, and was forced to surrender the cats. They were both holding out for hope in the possibility of being adopted when Easton’s mother decided they would welcome a new pet.

While Tiny may still be seeking for a permanent home since Trinity wasn’t particularly close to her brother, Easton claimed the kitten the instant he laid eyes on it. After their first visit to the shelter, everything became further clearer.
“Tiny liked Easton, and Easton loved Tiny. From the moment he spotted him, he was never shy around him, according to Easton’s mother, who spoke to Love Meow.

An amazing photo shot on the trip home shows Tiny relaxing on, or rather, fully taking over, his new owner’s lap, the Exploits Valley SPCA subsequently posted to Facebook. “The family officially sealed the deal by signing the adoption paperwork,” the organization said. Tiny escaped from his cage on the way home, snuggled up to his new owner, and has been attached to him ever since.
